The Madeline Island School of the Arts is excited to have Mel return to the renowned Tanque Verde Ranch to conduct a five-day, plein air workshop as part of their winter workshop series. This watercolor workshop will include daily morning demonstrations by Mel, one-on-one instruction, and class critiques. Magnificent vistas of the desert and the Rincon Mountains and all things southwest will make for exceptional painting sites. Conveniently located just forty minutes from Tucson International Airport, the Tanque Verde Ranch provides comfortable accommodations. You'll be surrounded by Santa Fe style architecture and scenic views of the incredible landscapes and some of the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets you have ever seen.
