​Mel's summer travels continue when he arrives in Hinckley, Ohio where he will conduct a three-day workshop in the beginning of August for the Cliffside Artists Collaborative.  Easily accessible, the town of Hinckley is located less than 20 miles from Akron and Cleveland.  The Cliffside Artists Collaborative, created in 2006, provides educational programs in the visual and performing arts including workshops and seminars. This indoor class will take place at the Sargent-Laessig Museum of Fine Arts (also known as Cliffside), which is  a newly renovated five-story home featuring over 300 works of art. Mel is looking forward to this workshop and to seeing you there! Contact Cliffside Artists Collaborative to register!

Mel concludes the summer season with a four-day, indoor workshop in Aberdeen, North Carolina.   The town of Aberdeen is conveniently located less than 70 miles from Raleigh, Durham, and Greensboro.  The Artists League of the Sandhills will be hosting this workshop and is made up of a strong community of artists.  They have an active membership of over 200 artists.  There is great studio space, two large classrooms, two galleries, and a library.  The Artists League hosts workshops, classes, and annual shows.  Mel's workshops are casual and friendly and designed for beginners to advanced students so all are welcome to join!
